As a Senior iOS Developer at EKN Engineering, I developed a production SwiftUI iOS application for field operations and engineering workflows. I focused on offline-first architecture, dynamic job management, and SwiftData-based persistence so field crews could continue working reliably without network connectivity. I built a JSON-driven dynamic form engine capable of rendering reusable inspection and engineering forms without requiring new Swift code deployments. I also developed workflow systems for job assignment, form progression, checklist completion, synchronization, and PDF report generation, helping modernize field data collection and reporting for real-world engineering operations.
I also built core job management functionality that allowed users to create, edit, update, and track jobs through different workflow statuses. The app supported adding images and videos to job records, capturing completed form data, verifying signatures, and exporting completed jobs and inspection forms to PDF. To support real-world field use, I optimized scrolling and pagination for large job lists, organized jobs by status, and implemented Auth0 authentication for secure access. I also helped ensure that job data, forms, media, and workflow progress were stored locally using SwiftData, allowing users to continue working without connectivity and automatically sync their updates once internet access was restored.
